Rooms & Rates at Our Hotel in Downtown McCloud

Every room has its own individual theme based upon an aspect of McClouds rich history. Creating a unique atmosphere from room to room. Some people like to change rooms with every visit just to experience each room. While others may find a room that suits them perfectly and they’ll stick with it for every visit.

No matter your situation, we have the room for you. Whether you’re a couple on a budget looking for an intimate room like the Friday George Room or honeymooners looking to go big with a jacuzzi tub and a mesmerizing view such as the Shasta Wintu Suite. Families with kids that need to sleep more than two may be interested in one of our four family suites that offer plenty of space and a multitude of beds. Also, Whispers Den is a pet friendly room that opens to the outside world making it quick and easy to take your pup out to enjoy the fresh air of the mountains. In addition, the 1940’s and Charles Miller Suite are both handicap accessible as well.

Many of the rooms have king sized beds, feather down comforters, radiant bathroom floors, Whirlpool or claw foot tubs, walk-in showers, Wifi, TV, and come with a breakfast credit ($10 per person – $20 limit) at one of our two great restaurants located within the building.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

  • Check-in time is between 3:00 and 5:00 PM (3-6 on Saturdays) at the Mercantile Store.
  • Check-out is at 11:00 AM – Late checkouts may be available upon request. Please, inform us if you want us to store your bags.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

  • Smoking – We are a non-smoking inn.  There are designated smoking areas outside the Mercantile. There is a $150 fee for smoking in a room.
  • Pets: We have a pet-friendly room, Whisper’s Den. Please keep your pets leashed when in public areas.

SINGLE ROOM CANCELLATIONS:

  • All cancellations are subject to a $25.00 non-refundable room fee. In addition, cancellations made 14 days or less to arrival date will be charged a fee equal to one night’s lodging or 50% of the reserved stay, whichever is greater unless the rooms can be rebooked.
  • 30-day cancellation notice is required for some holidays and special events.  We have a 2-day minimum for holiday weekends.
